We are almost inching closer to the end of Paytm ODI Series as both the teams are all set to battle it out in the final ODI at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur on Sunday. Team India will be surely eyeing to end the series on a high, whereas Australian would prefer continuing their winning form, which they just found a game ago!
The finale ODI of the Paytm ODI Series between India and Australia surely has all the makings of a Super Sunday. Australia will do their best to end the series on a respectable note. On the other hand, Virat Kohli's Team India will show no mercy and give their best shot to make up for their lone loss in this series.
India tasted their bench strength in the 4th ODI at Indore but in return, got a 21 runs defeat from the mighty Australia instead. Mohammad Shami, Umesh Yadav and Axar Patel proved rather costly in their only game in this series though Captain Virat Kohli defended his bowling department. "We have won the series and you have to try out guys at some stage. You
need to test your bench strength as well and you need to give those guys
game time", he said in the post-match presentation of 4th ODI.
We can expect KL Rahul's inclusion in the squad for the final game as he is the only batsman who haven't got the chance to play in this series.
As far the Australian Team is concerned, they will be oozing with confidence, thanks to the clinical performance their batsmen finally managed to pull off in the previous ODI. Though, they will surely want Steve Smith to lead from the front as we still haven't seen any impressive performance coming from his willow in this series.
The series is already in Team India's kitty with a 3-1 lead and it will be a proud moment to watch Virat Kohli lifting that Paytm ODI Series Trophy tomorrow, no matter what the result is!
